My vision for DESA is to provide students with an educational experience that inspires and motivates them to be lifelong learners and caring contributors to the world around them. Our goal is to provide a nurturing environment that meets the individual needs of each student, both academically and socially.
Families, teachers, support staff, community members, and administration all play a part in helping our students develop academically, socially, and emotionally. Together, we can make a positive difference. A strong partnership between home and school fosters greater success for our children. Throughout the year, exciting things are happening in our classrooms and on our campus! We encourage you to get involved by joining our PTSA, volunteering at school activities, and taking an active role in your child's education. We encourage parents to communicate with teachers and staff to foster a successful partnership. It is my desire to keep the focus on increasing student achievement and doing whatever it takes to help ALL our students be successful and enjoy coming to school each day.
